most of our products are flat packed and designed in such a way that they can easily fit in your car. however, if you prefer to have your purchase delivered, you can choose among our range of delivery options.
why ikea still charges delivery & service fee？
we are constantly challenging ourselves and others to make more from less without compromising on quality. we do our best to discover and eliminate unnecessary costs. to do so we produce our products in large quantity and use flat packs to further reduce transportation costs. we know that low prices are impossible without low costs.

parcel delivery
parcel range is based on weight less than 30kg, length less than 1.0m, width and height both less than 0.7m, and total length of each item less than 1.65m.
note: live plants, food, articles with assorted colors, metered fabric, knives, large vases, wall/floor mirrors and rolling package mattress are excluded.
parcel delivery area
online delivery area covered 301 cities in china. most of parcels in majority cities will be delivered within 3 days when the stock at good condition but will be some delay if the stock on the way of transit or during peak period.
for the collected customized sofa cover, the parcel will be delivered within 8 days because of production on demand. you can check your delivery area availability by filling in address at shopping cart page with products added.
parcel delivery price
starting from 9.9 rmb per parcel package.
*for each additional 3kg other than the starting 3kg, parcel delivery price will increase by 5 rmb.
note: when all items in the same order are delivered by parcel delivery and the paid amount (excluding delivery or service charges) is over ¥329, the order is eligible for free delivery. multiple orders with a combined amount of ¥329 or more are not eligible for parcel delivery. when the order includes any one truck delivery item, the free delivery service is not available. (the following remote areas are not eligible for the service: hainan, xinjiang, gansu, ningxia hui autonomous region, qinghai, tibet.)

for the big furniture and non-parcel range products, we provide you with various truck delivery options.
ikea always cares for the planet environment, most of our deliveries will be done by ev trucks.

online delivery area covers 301 cities in china and will be delivered at your date of choice among the delivery dates we provided. lead time of truck delivery service in most cities is about 1 week when stock is at good condition but might be delayed if product stock level is low or during peak period.

express delivery: starting from 199 rmb
this delivery is available on the checkout page. for offline customers please check with ikea in store co-workers. the express delivery will be delivered at 7pm to 9pm.
for orders over 150kg we are sorry that ikea cannot provide express delivery for you. please choose designated date delivery.

help to carry: 30 rmb per each floor higher than 6th floor without elevators

important notices
about delivery change of date
if you need to change the delivery time because of your personal reason, please contact ikea customer support center at least one day before the promised date. for details, please refer to the date which aligned between you and ikea customer support center. delivery can only be changed date to a future date than your previously booked date. parcel delivery & express delivery cannot be rescheduled. if you need to cancel the delivery, please contact ikea customer support center. if you need to change delivery date on your delivery date, you will need to pay delivery charge equal to the charge in your initial order again.
about second time delivery
please make sure that you or someone is available at the appointed delivery time & address. if due to you reason (including not responding to telephone, no one sign for the products, wrong delivery address) we failed to deliver, you will need to pay delivery charge equal to the charge in your initial order again. our delivery vendor will leave contact information at your address so you can reschedule a delivery with ikea again. or you can inquire ikea customer support center to reschedule or cancel your order.
about failed delivery
if because of your reason we failed to deliver the product to you (including not responding to telephone, no one sign for the products, wrong delivery address), ikea will return and refund your order to you. for order purchased at offline store please go to ikea store to proceed your refund. online orders will be refunded to your original form of purchase within 7 working days.
about compound apartment
if the product needs to be delivery into compound apartment, please make sure the handrail and footstep is in place, and the width of corridor is more than 80cm in order to secure enough space for carry big furniture like mattress or sofa. when the compound apartment does not have an elevator and the effective level is over 6 floors then help to carry charge may apply.
about hanging products over balconies
for safety reason, ikea contracted service provider cannot bring your products through windows or balconies.
